Healthy growth of hair begins from cleansing and repairing its foundation --- the scalp --- which is analogous to the need for a fertile soil to produce nutrient-rich vegetables.  A healthy scalp is also achieved by physical and mental relaxation.  The more stress one has, the more tense and constricted the blood vessels become; hence, resulting in limited blood flow and nutrients to the hair follicles.

A Head Spa is essentially a combination of Hair Care, Scalp Care and Mental Relaxation.  It is simply, a “Facial for the Scalp”.

It will ‘prevent’ hair loss and promote ‘healthy’ growth of hair via removing the impurities blocking the pores and improving blood circulation; however, we cannot assume that it guarantees actual hair growth.  For clients who are mainly concerned with hair growth, we recommend them to use our essential oil-based specific intensive treatments and shampoos within the Renee Furterer line which target hair loss.

What is the Japanese Hair Reconstructing Treatment?

It is a 3 step treatment process for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair: SUPPLY, BOND, CONFINE.  Combined with the application of Micro Mist, results are even more dramatic!!!!

 
         
 

Step 1 - SUPPLY: inner milk

  
 
The key to deep penetration is arginine that has alkalinity and creates a low level of alkaline environment. It will make hair slightly soft and swollen so that the ingredients such as ceramide complex and amino acids can easily penetrate inside of hair. Even though the hair gets somewhat swollen, there is little or no color fade-out because the hair will not be rinsed out until the 3rd step (outer cream) is done.
  
         
 

Step 2 - BOND: bind oil

  
 
Bind oil contains glycerin, an effective humectant and lactic acid, an acid agent which will constrict somewhat swollen hair. It also contains B-poticle (methicone), a conditioning agent, but more importantly, it will work as a bond between hair and O-poticle (amodimethicone) which is contained in "outer cream". Bound together, they will form a quasi-cuticle.
  
         
 

Step 3 - CONFINE: outer cream

  
 
O-poticle contained in "outer cream" adsorbs hair and B-poticle to form a quasi-cuticle called "pod cuticle". Pod cuticle coats the hair surface and adds smoothness and shine to the hair. This will restore the hair to hydrophobic as it creates quasi-cuticle and will help protecting the hair from external damage.
